4 days tour - UNESCO places and the High Tatras
- Day One: Bratislava - Banská Stiavnica - Tatranská Lomnica
Sightseeing in Bratislava. passing through Nitra; Bishop´s resindence since 880, heading for Banska Stiavnica - a former important miing centre and royal medieval town with numerous monuments. A short lunch break is followed by a transfer to a hotel in the High Tatras. Dinner at the Koliba with BBQ and Gipsy music.
- Day Two: Kezmarok - Spis Castle - Spiska Kapitula - Zehra - Levoca
Visit to Kezmarok with its unique spectacular wooden church followed up by touring Spis castle, the largest in Central Europe, and Spiska Kapitula with the beautiful Cathedral of St.Martin dating back to 1245-1273. Visiting Zehra to observe its old wall painting, with the day to be ended in Levoca´s Gothic Town Hall and St.Paul´s Church, a notably tall wooden altar by master Paul of Levoca.
To be seen - the anncient town and spa of Bardejov, the unique town square with manor houses and church and an open air museum of old Slovak village architecture.
- Day Four: Strsbke Pleso - Trencin - Bratislava
After-breakfast morning trip to Strbske Pleso - a spectacular tarn (1.300 m altitude) and the famous winter sports centre. A short walk. Next, passing through the cities of Zilina and Trencin to Bratislava. A journey to the wine region of Small Carpathians with exclusive wine tasting included.
